What Made Me Decide To Walk Through The Path Of Financial Freedom

Hi! I am Nezel. I am here because I want financial freedom. The reasons why? Let me elaborate.
I am a working mother having a 4-digit income. Yes, 4-digit. I am a college graduate and working on the field which I studied. But why the meager income? This is what I often wonder. I am working in the same company for the past eight years. Yes, eight years. This made me look at my classmates and schoolmates who made it in their line of work. They seem to be successful more than me and much more financially able. It's not that they are more intelligent or more privilege. We kind of start at the same level. In class back then, I was even much smarter. But why the big difference in the income that we are bringing home? Are they much lucky? Nope, they are just more determined perhaps. Anyway, enough for the analysis and the whys.
What matters to me now is that I am now awakened. Yes, awakened from my deepest slumber. I am so tired of leaving almost always beyond my means. My husband is also working if you may ask. But his earnings is much lesser than mine. We have been happily married for five long years with two kids, one  four year-old and one four-month old. We had built a mestizo house (half concrete, half indigenous materials) through loans, yet still needed finishing and furnishings. To date we still have loans that totaled sixty-five thousand pesos (65,000.00) which would take us two years to pay. You see, half of our income goes to loan payments.
This made me think there must be some other way I could increase my income without leaving my present job, not to mention I could hardly find a much better job than what I have now considering my age.
These are some of the basic reasons why I decided to walk the path to financial freedom.
