The Obstacles I Face To My Path To Financial Freedom

Not all journey starts smoothly. Mine is one. Before I could successfully embark on my journey to financial freedom, I have to acknowledge first the obstacles that lie my way so that I could find helpful solutions to them.  They are as follows:

1. Having no computer or laptop at home. What I do at home, I just take notes of every idea that sparks into my mind. I even wrote on my notebook the draft of my next post to my blogs so that when I'm in front of the monitor I wouldn't be wasting time staring on an empty screen wondering what to write. Moreover, I take notes some of the lessons I have difficulty in understanding for familiarization and planning for the next step I would be taking.

2. Having a home situated at a remote barangay with no internet cafe nearby. Yep, this I could do nothing. I just pray for the coming of my new laptop sooner.

3. Taking care of a breastfeed four-month old baby. One advantage of my day job is that, it is flexible enough to allow me to sneak a few minutes during office hours to nurse my baby at the house of my mother-in-law where I left him when I'm at work. Yes, my baby prevents me from surfing the net in the evening since it is the only time where I could nurse him as often as he wants. And we have no laptop at home. But I'm still happy because when I'm nursing my little one some of my best ideas spring-up.

4. Working full-time six days a week. Yes, there are evenings, but it would be for my baby. There is a Sunday, but it is the nanny's day-off. No one could take care of my baby than me. My husband too is taking care of our four-year old son on this day. The good thing is - I could work on the internet in our office during my free time and break time. But this is not so cool, because this means I have to work in between client interruptions and colleague chickas. Concentration is really difficult. But I have to because there is no other option.

As of this time, these are the obstacles I am encountering. I know my study would be slow considering the situation. I am thinking of some options. Maybe, I would spare half a day not to report to work and spend the time with my study. This might not be so good to my employee standing. But I have to give up some privilege in exchange of other privilege. Some things would be difficult for me but I have to sacrifice for the attainment of my goal - financial freedom.
